What do you need it to do?

I want to film my commute - there's a small section which is causing me problems which if I described it would sound quite simple so I'd like comments on what I am actually doing. I can do this in daylight and good weather. If I can attach the camera to my head without having to wear a helmet that would be a bonus (can we take the helmet debate as read?). I don't need to film for a long time or capture number plates.

I've bought two.

The first looks EXACTLY like the "muvi" cameras, but is unbranded and only cost me £16 on ebay. I made a bracket for my handlebars out of an old reflector and some cable ties. The image quality is ok, and the battery lasts about 45 minutes on a full charge.

However, that wasn't long enough for my commute, so I bought another camera that cost about £25. I made a bracket for handlebars for this one too, (although it comes with a helmet attachment in the box). using two internal AAA batteries it only did about 25 minutes, so I took it apart, added a jack socket, and made a battery case that takes 4 AA batteries that I can strap to my crossbar. Now it runs for about 4 hours on fully charged batteries.

If you want me to send you pictures and more details, drop me a line.

Thank you for the suggestions.
Someone on here has a camera attached to their spectacles... or I could possibly rig some sort of head strap/attach it to a hat (I like hats). I'd prefer to attach it to my head as the amount of looking over my shoulder I do is probably relevant to the problem I'm having...

on amazon they do a tiny camera Mini DV it has a handle bar mount which you could attach to a helmet as well with cable ties about 8 quid then an 8 gig micro sd card about 6 quid I used it for a while it was ok (ish) but would only last about 40 minutes and light would never go off to say it was fully charged but at 15 quid it was good enough (bit shaky)
