Re using a glued tub

Hi there,

Does anyone have any advice on how to clean glue from a tub? See the pictures. Currently struggling to get the old glue off.

Any advice would be great

Acetone? I know we used to use it(still use it) on rims.

It's not necessary to get it all off...

If it is lumpy take off the lumps if it is smooth leave it. If it has lumps spread it more smoothly next time
