RIP. As well as a being a damn fine actor he was also the voice of Tommy Vercetti in Grand Theft Auto Vice City, great game.

2 films I thought he was great in were Blow and The Place Beyond The Pines, only supporting roles but very good.

The most recent thing I saw him in was The Many Saints of Newark which is The Sopranos prequel that was made, he's very good in that too.

First saw him in one of my favourite films of the '80's, 'Something Wild', directed by Jonathan Demme, not long before he hit the big time too.

In this scene in Goodfellas where Pauli slaps Henry on the face was completely unscripted which is why he looks so surprised.

Ah Goodfellas, great film. A few too many four letter words for my liking (although I believe the Wolf of Wall Street has the record in that respect) but some great performances in it nevertheless.
