Rattle Claris Shifter

Any ideas as to how I stop this rattling? Right side is wobbly and rattles, left side is solid, but I can’t see any obvious adjustment mechanism and don’t want to b£&@er it up myself...

I think it’s what they call the nameplate that is moving. The screw securing it is illustrated here:

Found the problem... the plate itself is broken.

Cycleops has nailed it - I had similar with my Tiagra (turned out the "nameplate" had broken around the screw hole, but got a new one under warranty).

Those shifters look nice for entry level kit

I found a replacement on eBay, but it’ll be 4 weeks to come from the States, so I’ve got busy with some superglue and fabric (to prevent it splitting immediately). It’ll inevitably break again, but hopefully last for a few weeks while I find a UK replacement.
