Rambler bicycle

I have just come across a Rambler Bicycle with rod brakes, has anyone heard of these, there is a small write up on Wikipedia and that is about all I can find???

Just had a look, looks like it maybe, debating whether to buy it, a bit rough, but gears and brakes work and only £20. Worth a go?

Blimey, 20 quid sounds like a bargain Rambler were the name of Norman Bikes.........subsumed into the Raleigh / Ti empire !
