Ive got an old ralleigh sportsman in the shed, a bit rusty and stiff dont know whats any good and whats not. il put some pictures up tommorow but im up for selling this, not sure how much its worth but il take offers of someone on here as im sure your all trustworthy.

Its got a leather saddle and most of it looks pretty original. i got it from a sale room about 7 years ago.

What size frame is it?
I'm thinking of a fixed/single speed bike, so just need the frame to be very large & ok

Sambu... it could be adviseable to start a thread in a different part of the forum (Bikes...parts..accessories etc) stating that you plan to sell it and asking for a guide value on the bike, that way you don't wind up cranky old gits like rich. However, if you stick some photos up in here a few people might PM you to give you an idea of the price.

What is the frame made off (any stickers saying 531, 501 etc)?
What groupset is on there
what sized wheels?
All these things will help in selling the bike and allowing us to give you a rough guesstimate as to what it is worth
