As in this thread ive got a Raleigh sportsman in the shed and wondered if anyone could give me an idea to its worth?

Well i paid a tenner about 8 years ago so that doesnt sound too bad. i dont think the rust is that deep though

Looks like it used to be a very nice bike once. To maximise profits I would day split and sell parts, i.e. Stem for £3, frame for £5 etc, otherwise flog it for a tenner...you might get a bit more if you are lucky but I can't see it going past £20.....unless the bike turns out to be a very rare, respected model

pretty much what i thought, i didnt do all that damage myself by the way, it was pretty carppy when i got it!
