AND NOW IT’S BACK AGAIN ...
Raleigh Record Ace Framed Touring bicycle.
Raleigh Record Ace 24” frame.
Wheels .. Decathlon 32 spoke with 28mm puncture resist road tyres ..new .. the tyres that is, the wheels have done <500 miles.
Seat .. alloy / carbon composite with Selle Man saddle. New.
Chainset ... Alloy / Silver Sugino double with a single 38 tooth, new Stronglight alloy ring without ramps or pins.
Bottom bracket .. New ...
Brakes ..Wiennman.
Bars and stem .. SR, new black tape fitted.
Chain .. 9 speed, new.
Cassette .. 11 - 40, new.
Derailleur .. SRAM, new.
Gear lever .. Shimano single, new.
Brake levers .. generic Tektro, new.
Cables .. new.
Frame is in the original finish and has the paint chips and small, very small, flecks of non structural oxide you would expect, no dents, no issues.
This is a lovely bike and is a clone of my LEJOG and CToC long distance bike, but without the rack.
The bike is suitable for 5’ 10” - 6”+ riders and with all steel frames of this high quality gives a smooth ride on tarmac, forest tracks and fine gravel.
Selling it because the concept of having N+1 bikes does not work for me ... I ride the one bike everywhere so this one sits in the dining room going nowhere.
Payment by PayPal please, collection only ... or ... delivery around the motorway network - Scots Border to M4 corridor by arrangement and a small fee for fuel.
