Was just wondering what the gearing would have been on my old raleigh pursuit circa 1987'88.
Have had a quick google and come up with 52/42 and 14-36 does this sound right. Cheers.

Browsing Sheldon's site, I've found out my BSA 20 paint is called "Coffee", how about that... My favourite tipple on a 100km AUK DIY.

Cheers Jimbo, Thats where i got my figures from. Looking into buying a new bike, so am working out ( trying to ) the gearing i want. Have a mountain bike at the minute with slicks on and don't use the small ring, so i think i can count out a triple straight away.
