This bike was purchased by a friend of mine who has since deceased and has done only about 200 miles. In his later few weeks he had a problem getting off and on his tourer so he purchased this in the belief it would help him. Unfortunately he became bedridden and died shortly afterwards. It has been stored in my shed for the last year thinking his widow may use it but she now wishes it sold. It looks good and everything is working correctly. The bike was ridden with spd pedals which have now been replaced with a pair of MTB ones.
The Raleigh Pioneer Metro LX Women’s Hybrid Bike is upgraded to feature fingertip control Shimano EZ fire gear shifters, 21speed TX series gears and a suspension seatpost to further improve riding comfort.
