Raleigh Grand Sport 531 frame and fork.

I bought this two years ago with wrecked wheels and built it into a singlespeed.

Now I have used the wheels on another project, and would like this to go to a good home.

Its 55cm seatpost. Frame is marked Carlton, made in Worksop.

I'm reluctant to post and pack, but realise I may need to.

Any thoughts on pricing?

Very nice frame, especially with the chrome ends. It’s a small size which will limit its appeal and price. I should sell the frame chainset and bits separately if you want to maximise your return.

I guess the seat post moves OK? Are the cranks TA. If they are then the extractor tool needs to be the right size.

Good advice @Cycleops , but I just want the space now, so I'd prefer to sell it as one lot.

The seat post is free, as is the headset,@midlife , and the cranks are Zeus. None of my sockets fit the bolts, so I haven't got to trying with my extractor

It looks just like my Carlton Competition apart from the chrome forks.

55cm seat tube is pretty medium by modern standards (21 1/2"). Most people up to 6' could ride it with a suitable seatpost.
