A (very small, I think it's a 19" or 20") example of an 80s "gaspipe" favourite. I bought this and a Falcon last month off ebay as a doer-upper

This was the pic on ebay. It looked a lot worse in real life!

wheel rims looked quite bad.

Now they look great - from about 2m away!

All the rusty steel and chrome (such as wheels, chain rings) was painted with Hammerite rust remover, then rubbed down with 000 wirewool; it's AMAZING what comes off!
Just gotta give the paintwork a quick t-cut and polish and job's a good'un. Hopefully I should be able to make a few quid towards a new summer ride

The worst bits on the frame are the stickers, unless I was to make some myself, I think they'll have to stay that way; this one's all about flipping anyway.
Might take a look at the Falcon now, it was supposed to be for spares but I'm beginning to feel sorry for it!
