Back in 1973 when I was 14 I saved my paper round money for a whole year to buy one of these.
I only had it a couple of weeks when it got nicked, never to be seen again
Got this one off eBay a few months ago. Had it stripped, sprayed and rebuilt. Looks as good as new. Just a pity am not 14 anymore

Just out of curiosity what's the frame number of the bike in the pic?

I'm back at sea Shaun. I'll check when I get back. If I remember correctly this one was built in Nottingham June 77 I think the bar tape was white but the tube ? Can't remember.

Just a pity am not 14 anymore

When I'm on my vintage steel road bike, my mind thinks I'm something around 18 again. It's a rather refreshing feeling but possibly dangerous although I've only ridden into one hedge so far...
