This is the working Raleigh Ascender which I'd posted about getting hold of a few weeks back.
It's a 21" frame, so a Large although I can ride it at 5' 8" it's better for someone a bit taller. Almost entirely original, except for a replacement seatpost clamp and San Marco saddle. Dates from about 1992 and British made. Originally from Bob Allport & Sons, Wakefield.
Still in excellent condition considering the age, although there are a small number of paint chips and a tiny bit of the logo is peeling. The tyres have some cracking but decent tread. One spoke is missing from the rear wheel, with a non-removeable freewheel, but has been trued to minimise impact.

- 15 speed Shimano SiS gears; 5 x 3. All working
- Shimano SiS front and rear derailleurs
- Unknown 170mm square taper triple crankset
- Unbranded cantilever brakes front and rear
- Unbranded wheels with Impac Alpin 26 x 1.75 tyres
- San Marco white saddle fitted - small tear on LH rear
- Matching green 58cm wide flat handlebars with black original grips
- Plus front, rear and wheel reflectors.
