In truth I dont know but I suspect it will at least take smal/half size Crudcatchers even if it does not take a full size set of guards.

Sounds like a good bike for that price. Doesn't look to bad either.

Took a look around eBay and Evans, and didn't see anything which was obviously better. Most bikes in that price range (that I saw) come with a Shimano 2300 groupsets, as opposed to Sora on the Raleigh you are looking at, which is one step up from 2300.

The Raleigh site states the price as £650, so if you can get it for £400 looks like you have a good deal. Looking at the pictures and specs, I'm pretty sure it will take regular guards, although I can't find an image of around the brake caliper to see the clearance. I'm confident it will take roadracers or the like.

it defo says mudguard clearance and eyes - looks like a steal at £400

they are very nice even the airlite100. the specs could be better but they are fairly light bikes and the build quality seems decent enough, go outdoors stock them
