Rainlegs

Rain legs are something that doesn' get a mention on here very often.

I wear them in the autumn and Winter, even when its not raining. It helps to keep the chill of my legs and does a good job of it.

They pack up very small when not in use.

Rain legs. Good, cheap kit that is often overlooked.

I got them from Aldi (I think) back in 2012/3

The weren't branded rainlegs, but they work.

Rainlegs were featured on Dragons' Den over 10 years ago and got savaged by the Dragons, but the woman who invented them went into production anyway without support from them. It seems like she was right and they were wrong!

I've used them for years. They're much less annoying than full overtrousers, keeping your knees and above warm and fairly dry but not sweaty, but your lower legs are going to get completely wet through and slowly fill your shoes and socks with water, so they're not perfect.
