Has the race season finished as i wanted to watch some cat 4 races but theres nothing on in the north east.

I have had a look at the british cycling website and there's nothing for 100km i admit there was a race on tonight in bishop auckland but no cat 4 everything else is sportives or youth races.

The road season doesn't finish till late October.

Our club 10 series has another two weeks to run. Open events carry on thru September, then a few through october and the hill climbing seaon and then training starts for the 2017 season.

The season finishes when club promoters stop promoting. If there's youth racing on, then watch that instead, as the u14/u16 category will be just as fast, if not faster than 4th cat anyway

My last open TT is on the 18th of September . I might look around for a couple more to make this years total 20 .

Mid September used to be my lot, I hated racing beyond that as the weather was changing and I used to feel drained by then anyway. My club used to hold a fifty in October and I was always a willing volunteer for marshalling duties.

Go and ride your bike instead. It'll do you more good than watching people quicker than you on tv

The race season is actually ridiculously long for vets.. start of March thru to end of Sept ..then winter training . I have penultimate Stallard LVRC road race close to Bridlington on the 11th Sept.. always nice to get spectators to supplement man walking his dog.
