Race blades and computer

Sorry for the daft question....BUT with weather getting worse decided to fit blades to my Sirrus, trying to fit them today, very easy to do on the rear but the front blade is causing a problem! My computer sensor (that lbs fitted) on the fork is in the way so I can't attach the blade. I guess my question is can I move the sensor further down the fork? If I did it would be very close to the hub, is this ok?

It doesn't matter where it is on the fork leg as long as it lines up with the magnet.

No Problem, one rotation of the wheel is still one rotation of the wheel no matter where the magnet is placed on the wheel.

thanks, i will move the sensor/magent tonight

don't really want the blades on but i guess it's better than getting covered in crap when the weather gets worse
