R670 V Ultegra 6700

I'm looking to change my road bike pedals from a cheap mountain bike pair to a road specific pair. After looking around i thing the Shimanos seem to rated well and have a durable cleat compared to others.
What i don't get is whats the difference between these two models other than a £20 price difference and different labeling on the side.
Can anyone shed any more light?
Would the 105's be the same, just heavier.

R670 are Ultegra pedals except they're Black and don't have Ultegra written on them. I have them on my bike, which is otherwise Dura Ace. Colour fits black frame better and it doesn't look like I've scrimped on the pedals so much. My pedals get scratched up so much I couldn't justify Dura Ace prices for them.
