One that seems to have slipped under the radar, session guitarist Vic Flick has passed away on 14th of November, some may be thinking, who, never heard of him, but I guarantee everyone has heard his work, throughout his career he has worked with just about every top artist of the 1960's, played on the Shirley Bassey song for the 007 film Goldfinger, and he played the world famous James Bond theme, as well as doing session work alongside Jimmy Page, who apparently was always asking to be shown how to play things.

I know who he was, didn't realise he'd gone to the big gig in the sky

Barnet,
I heard about him on the radio this morning.
Obviously a great talent that has left us.
His music will live on.

Sad news, I remember him being on that Vegas pawn show selling his 'Strat' they called in their mate 'Jessie' to have a look at the guitar and he had not only heard of Vic but was gobsmacked to meet and talk with him. Vic and 'Big Jim Sullivan' have probably been on more songs than I've had hot dinners.

Yes, saw that, I’ll call the expert, says shop owner, his face was a picture when Jessie not only knew of him but as you say was gobsmacked to meet him
