Like the title says new to cycling a so for I like winter getting wet ok riding in gales dodgy but ok bit slow so maybe winter not so bad after all
Me tooWind is a nightmare though. Really cheeses me off
Some huge hail, glad you made it through it ok. Wish I had a basement. In weather today, I was unable to ride, due to 50+mph winds, and 2 inch + (!) hail . A pretty bad tornado 25 miles to the west of me. I had Mrs GA in the basement with her bicycle helmet on (We are told this is a good precaution) and hid out there myself, for a bit. My sister lives in Pekin, and that was much harder hit, from the North side of Pekin, through Morton and East Peoria, to Washington, where many areas are knocked flat. But my sister is fine, South and East of the stricken areas.
What damage does that hail do parked cars ?,I've seen hail storms in Europe trash cars, panel beater teams from the uk go out regularly to mend the roofs on newer cars that can have 70 plus smaller dents and replace windows and bonnets, but nothing of that size of hail bomb, and we think we get weather bad in the ukIn weather today, I was unable to ride, due to 50+mph winds, and 2 inch + (!) hail .
