I am currently lloking to get quick release wheels for my bike and was wondering if it was easy enough to just get the hubs or to get new wheels all together? Also if anyone in the know could point me to a reasonably priced set that would be great thanks:smile:

Hi there, It is probably cheaper to buy a new set of wheels, as the cost of buying the hubs and then getting the wheels built up will probably cost more, unless you are a wheel builder then I am talking a load of old toot. What size wheels would you be looking for? Have a look at Evans to see what takes your fancy and your price range. I have several different wheel sets, Campag Shirocco on one bike and Shimano hubs with Mavic open pro rims on another. http://www.evanscycles.com/categories/bike-components-bike-parts/wheels-rims-hubs

They are for Shim 8/9/10 spd - what system are you using on your current bike with a solid axle?

700c are road wheels as opposed to 26inch which are standard MTB wheels. The wheels you are looking at are fine at that price.
