Hey!

So started cycling to work today. Locked the bike up and I'm happy where it is except for 1 thing... my cable which is locked up with my D lock wont fit through the underneath of the saddle. So I was forced to remove the saddle altogether to prevent any light fingered people.

Now I am looking out the window and I see some nasty black clouds moving my way... What do I do? The frame is gonna fill up with water!!!

What do you guys do to prevent this??? What are my options before the heavens open???

Thanks to you all

Now I have resulted in stuffing the post with a lovely carrier bag
Sounds like another use for that most versatile of objects , the supermarket bag. What would we do without them ?

Congrats on the cycle commuting btw.

Quick release anythings have no place on a commuter bike. (Well, not one that you're going to leave anywhere dodgy).

I solve this problem by keeping my original Bianchi saddle on the bike, it's such a painful experience that I could at least sleep easier at night knowing there's a thief around with a num bum.

Sorry, I realise this is of no practical use.

Look for Trans-x security bolts - you'll get a set for £15 or less and they use a five sided allen bolt.....wheels and seat post - I've yet to see anyone else using them....
