Quick Browse feature missing

On the old version, (or should we now call that the 'classic' version ?) when you swept your mouse over a topic title the first line or two of text would appear in a window, in much the same way as the current 'topic started on.. text does now

Can we have the feature back please .

I personally find it very useful to know wether I want to bother to open the topic or not, if the first few lines don't interest me then I don't bother to open.
At present every topic has to opened to take a look.

Also the 'topic started on...' text is a bit pointless as the same data is available by opening the 1st message, who cares how old the topic is. Old stuff is at the bottom, new stuff at the top

Shaun has said he's not too keen on the replacement of that feature. Maybe in a while there will be a chance to get something similar to the old one.

More specifically, a line of icons appears, and it's the far right one you need, the one with the green arrow.

Thanks for the replies - At least that is bodge workaround
However still feel we need this important feature back
(I don't use the CTC forum as they do not have this feature)

It's the main thing people are missing, so I'll make it a priority to get this sorted.
