Question on air forks

Okay, due some inexperience and a very tight cap, no doubt caused by water, I managed to unscrew the top of the air fork where I got a good look inside.... What I meant to do was unscrew the cap to the air cap alone to check the pressure.

So, I tightened it back up again and refilled the bugger with air. I'm guessing this is okay and there's nothing else I need to be aware of?

Not unless any bits went walkies.

Just ensure the seal is good.

I have put a very small wipe of vaseline on the caps as mine got totally covered.
