I was just thinking about selling my bike on the way home, and I have talked to the bikes I love in the past... and I wondered... in a world where you can talk to a bike... can such a bike also read your thoughts?

Please only answer if you talk to your bike.

Were you bucked off into the hedge for thinking such evil thoughts?

I know this is posted in the Questions section, but maybe we should create a new section specifically for these kind of topics. We could call it The Muppets Club or something. Btw, I answered yes to all three.

For those who've watched a very underrated WW2 flick called 'white tiger' you might be familiar with the concept of machinery and such that have the ability to speak to you, but you don't have the ability to hear them.

That is where developing a 'feel' comes into play, whether it's with your cars clutch biting point or the tires on your road bike, it's all ways of communications that are speaking loudly, but we can't often hear it and when we do hear it, it's not us who understand it, it's our subconscious.

Cool theory imo

My bikes hear me unlocking the bike shack...
I can definitely hear cries of “Take me!!”
“Ride me today, you took that sloozy of a CX last time!!”
“It’s my turn today” as I open the door and turn the alarms off.
