Help please!!!! I'm very stuck on a puzzle on "Professor Layton and the Curious Village", have managed to solve all the others so far, but this one is doing my head in.

You have an 8 litre pitcher full of water and an empty 3 litre and 5 litre pitcher. You need to decant the pitchers so that you end up with two pitchers with 4 litres each and I just can't do it...

Any suggestions please???

Juice Pitchers: First pour the 8 into the 5. Then the 5 into the 3. Now take that 3 and put it into the 8 which will make only 6 inside. Pour 2 from the 5 into the 3. Then pour 6 into the 5. Pour the 5 into the 3, which already has 2 in it. This will leave the 5 with only 4. Great! Now pour the three in with the 1 over in the 8 for get 4 there as well. Seven moves! The quickest possible! Grouton will give you a Gizmo for completing the puzzle

Fill the 3 then pour that into the 5
Fill the 3 again and pour that into the 5 till the five is full.

You'll now have 1 litre left in the 3, 2 in the 8 and the five is full.

Pour the five back into the 8
Pour the 1 from the 3 into the 5
fill the 3 from the 8 and pour into the 5

You've got 4 in the 5 and 8 :0)

Pour 3 into the 3, then pour it into the five. Pour another 3 into the three, and use it to top up the five (leaving 1 in the 3). Pour the five back into the eight. Pour the one from the 3 into the five. refill the 3, and pour it into the five.

Find Jesus.
Ask politely if your water could possibly be turned into wine - (the older the better...)
Drink the lot - the answer will not matter
