Appeared to be a dig from Kirby about his Vuelta victory!

Exactly - I forget the word Kirby used but don’t think it was an accidental choice (something like ‘incredible’ win - with irony!!!).

Did he say something like "Your Vuelta win was quite a different tray of beef. " (chuckles to self) If he didn't it wasn't really Carlton Kirby.

If he did it might have been a subtle double dig at Horner and Contador.

That's my conclusion too. Seems very unusual to win like that at this time in his career.

Oh come on, do virtually nothing in your entire career until you win the GT that's known to have the most lax drug controls when you're pushing 42, apparently with ease, then disappear.....nothing fishy about that at all
