Tried this in another thread but think it was a bit too unrelated to garnered no response - thought I'd try again.

Anyone care to recommend some puncture resistant tubular tyres for regular road use?

Understand the Gatorskins are good - however - well, tbh - the colours, especially the slight brown crosshatch sidewalls, will clash with my new bike

Now I could do what a friend has apparently done with the clincher gators he has on his bike, and colour the brown in with a marker pen, but thought I should ask if there are perhaps any other tubs I should be considering?

Would prefer, of course, not to spend silly money.

I guess there are any number of tubs out there, though they are rarely designed for regular road use.

I use TUFO tubs for cyclocross, and their puncture resistance is pretty good, and combined with the Tufo Extreme Sealant, they seem puncture proof. Might be worth going that route.

Thanks, just been looking at TUFO tubs on Wiggle, although was a bit perturbed by one review saying he had punctures within 10 miles both times he tried those tubs. Although that was just one, and it could have been a member of staff at Conti or Schwalbe ;)

Anyone got any opinions on Schwalbe Ultremo HT? Seem to suit my needs, although are a bit of a price jump from Gators.
