New to this, but can some one give me advice buying new tyres or tyres and wheels that will ensure I get fewer puntures.
I have a scott hybrid cycle with Maxxis Columbiere 700 x32cc tyres and 700 35/43 inner tubes can't remember the make but bought in a bike shop so are not the originals.
I only use the bike on the road, so tarmac not off road, with 80 psi in both but do not really want to go down the road of buying a bulky tyre.
Is there a more punture resistant tyre/wheel/inner tube out there?

Don't know what you mean by bulky, but there is a clear and pretty much inescapable trade-off between puncture-resistance and bulk/weight. There are some relatively lightweight tyres that claim puncture-resistance, and their merits are debated regularly hereabouts, but IMHO if you want any real resistance you really have to go for Marathon Plus, which weigh about 8 kilos apiece. Me, I put up with a puncture a month. It's a bugger, but heavy tyres just take away all the fun.

I fitted some Rubino Pros yesterday after looking at the Puncture Avoidance thread in the Bikes Accessories and Kit section. Not sure they're available in 32s though. Try a search for puncture resistant tyres and see what comes up

My Sirrus came with the factory fitted Specialized All Condition Armadillo. Now after 2,300 miles over Norfolk lanes and urban roads no punctures yet.
