Pulled Stomach Muscle

I have a pain in my stomach that reads like the googled symptoms of a fairly mild pulled abdominal muscle, I think I did it when I cam off my bike sideways last Thursday (mostly because I can't think of another cause).

The pain developed a little on Saturday and a lot on Sunday, today (Monday) is about the same as Sunday - maybe a little better. Does this delay between damage and symptoms make sense or should I be looking for another cause.

With treatment I'm avoiding doing anything that hurts to let it rest. I intend to ride tomorrow is this a terrible idea ?(need to get a card but could get it done by proxy :biggrin:)

Cheers for the help guys, guessig you're a lot more knowledgable about cycling injuries than I am and it seems a waste to take it to the doctors where they're busy and I'll catch like 10 more things in the waiting room.

don't they hurt like a bitch? This is fine if I stand up but hurts as I bend, and its not so bad I haven't spent the day in the kitchen (I almost religiously never do work on a Monday)
