pulled muscle in chest

I pulled a muscle in my chest yesterday. Went to the GP within 3 hours and got valium, diclofenac and paracetimol. Anyway, 2 days on and it's getting worse dispite the drugs. Can hardly move about now as it seems to be a core muscle used in just about every movement.

Any advice?

Keep taking the Diclofenac it will work. Heat as well, if you can.

time off, lay on sofa wincing as necessary

that's what i did when I seemingly pulled/tore the lot on my right side, getting out of bed used to ake a good 10 minutes in the morning at first

my condition has stablised but not really improved - 5 days now. Hopefully it'll be better from here on in. cheers.

11 days and almost completely recovered - will take it easy for another week just in case.......

Went back to GP and swapped the valium for codeine - seemed to be more effective.
