For any of you in Sheffield who are interested, a local cyclist is organising a protest this coming Saturday.
Long story short, South Yorkshire police routinely direct coaches carrying football fans visiting Sheffield United Football Ground to park in a segregated cycle path on Asline Road.
This has been a longstanding problem, with those high up paying lip service to the fact that it's illegal, puts cyclists at risk and shouldn't be happening, yet every other saturday during the season the cycle lane is blocked with parked coaches. Video footage shows them being directed there by police escorts.
