Does anyone have a recipe to recommend for making for protein bars? I tried flapjacks one time but I had to use molasses instead of golden syrup and ended up gooey and never bonded.
I should add that I am looking for recipes that do not include chocolate or any ingredients that melt in the heat.
Where I ride the temperature is mostly in the 90's this time of the year and I want the bars to eat when I am beginning to experience the 'bonk' as an immediate pick-up.
I came on this site to ask if anyone had a protein bar recipe they could provide, I must have come to the wrong place.
I ride about 8,000 miles a year and wasn't looking for advice on how to ride or what to drink when I do ride.
Disappointing.
