Professional driver??

Nothing to do with cycling but I was waiting at traffic lights this morning, a T junction with a road joining from the left. A very long low loader came along to turn into the main road. It was a very tight turn and the driver was obviously struggling a little to get round. then I noticed he was doing it all one handed as he was using a mobile phone in his other hand. Anyway he eventually got round, still one handed, but not before demolishing a pedestrian crossing light. It was a good job there were no pedestrians waiting to cross the road.

Did you report him? Why should your local council (and, if you are a council tax payer, you) have to pay for the repair of the light this idiot demolished?
