Problems getting gpx files onto Garmin Edge 800

so just got the Garmin edge 800 & have found the course map fro the Hampshire Hilly 100(from the actual ride site). However when I try download it into Garmin connect it can't see it(all valid files option selected). Any ideas anyone?

you should be able to save the file from the site onto your pc. Suggest you save the GPXX file.
Plug the 800 into your pc with the usb cable. This should allow you to navigate to the newfiles folder on the 800 device. Then simply copy the gpxx file across.
