Hi there.

I am going to try and best explain this as I can as my friend who more bike savvy then me couldn't understand what I was saying.

Okay, I got some new clipless pedals and they are great!
But I have noticed a problem which I don't know if any of you can help me with.
I have seen from this video

that of course, when your foot is out of the pedal the pedal should always 'reset' to the position which is easiest to engage it with because it's loose (so you put your toes into it then push down with your heel) with me so far? :P

Now mine... they don't do that, or more correctly they do this but either slowly or I need to nudge them a bit for to happen which causes me to miss the pedal and not engage it straight away.

I'll try and also explain in pictures and a video possibly:

This is how the pedal is meant to look like no matter what, so if I turn it, it should always reset to this position

But as from the picture below I put it at this positon and it hasn't reset to that normal postion, or it will do it slowly

I recorded this and see how slow it is to return to that position compared to how I think it should be?

Practice, I have had many sets of pedals that behave like yours from new, I find them easier to clip into than those that spin each time they're kicked or at each failed attempt to clip in..

As mentioned previously, they'll wear in. It's most likely the grease.

Mine did it a couple of times in the winter but once I was out on the bike they were normal. The grease must have stiffened up with the low temperatures
