problem viewing announcements

Hello

I've got a slight problem viweing announcements - I couldn't view the new announcements (server/upgrade problems and kit orders) that appear at the top of all the forums

" purplepolly, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. "

So I went to the announcements forum and viewed a thread there, then I went back to another forum and could then view the same 2 announcements at the top of the page.

Yep, I've had that too on occasion. What's happening Shaun?

It's a bug that I haven't quite worked out how to fix yet.

The easiest way to get around it is to remove the forum element of the link:

http://www.cyclechat.co.uk/forums/announcement.php?f=16&a=69

http://www.cyclechat.co.uk/forums/announcement.php?a=69

Copy the URL into your browser and remove the f=xx& (xx being the forum number.)

I've possibly fixed it by modifying the announcements template.

Can you re-try to see if you can view the announcements okay now?
