On my way home last Wednesday one of the the stays on my rear mudguard snapped, not a major problem bit rattly but bodged a repair. I e mailed SKS asking if i could buy a replacement, they promptly replied saying that if i sent a photo of the broken part they'd send a new one F.O.C. New stay arrived this morning. Pretty decent service i reckon.

Always good to hear about excellent service.

I'd also like to praise SKS again. Last year the rear mudguard on my bike snapped and they speedily sent replacements. I waited till last winter to fit the new guards and took them off in April or May after about 400 miles, they'd cracked again. I didn't get round to emailing them until last Friday though asking how could I stop the crack spreading.

They got back to me on Monday but didn't think they could be repaired and it'd be better to send a new guard. On Tuesday they confirmed they were sending and they arrived today Friday

OT has anybody got any ideas as to how to fix the crack they'd make good spares if I could.

Drill a small hole either side of the crack?

Their Blumels don't have a flap but I'm not sure how large they go, mine are P35 (35mm) I think suitable for 23-28mm tyres.

I've just looked at crc you get bluemels in all sizes :becool:
and chromoplastics without the riveted mud flap

the chromoplastic ones have the holes for a mudflap. Unfortunately the front one has a mudflap pop riveted on. The rear one has a reflector on but it's possible to unscrew it.
