Posts Become Tweets

I've noticed when I post here the content goes on my Twitter account, which I hardly ever use.

I presume if the little bird is blue it goes as a Tweet. Is there away to switch off the setting more permanently?

Are you using Tapatalk or a mobile app to post? Or is this with a PC/laptop?

Also whereabouts is the little bird as I thought I'd turned off all of the social media settings a couple of months ago?

This is from iPhone. I'm using Tapatalk to make this post. Below the text I'm typing and above the onscreen keyboard are three icons; a camera which when I press opens the camera, the middle icon represents a hill and sun and opens photo albums. These are both grey. The third icon is the Twitter bird which is blue but if I touch it will "grey out" or "blue" again with a second touch.

After posting this I'll check my Twitter account.

I don't have Tapatalk installed, but what happens when you tap the icon and it goes grey? Does it still post into your Twitter feed?

If the Twitter icon is greyed out the post doesn't go to my Twitter feed.

I only discovered this was happening by chance as I don't use Twitter much. I was hoping there would be an option in Settings to turn it off but apparently not.

Don't bother too much now I know I'll just have to watch for it.
