Posting a wheel

Anyone here posted a bike wheel? I'm interested to know how much postage would cost if it's boxed up. Am putting one on ebay and wondering how much to charge for postage.

Get a wheel cardboard box from your local bike shop. New wheels arrive in them. The shop will be glad to get rid of it.

Royal Mail Standard Parcels (you can add insurance)

It's charged by weight not size, as long as it's within certain parameters.

The problem with Royal Mail is that you can be within their weight and size limits and they still refuse the parcel because it's 'too big' - completely crazy; what's the point of setting limits if you ignore them!?!

Compare quotes from couriers here. Just plug in the weight and dimensions.
