Are you riding with them on Boxing day?

I have floated the idea with my wife and got the OK. I will sack it if it is peeing down though (not due to). Boxing Day is a Chris Wilkinson run, I believe.

Glass of milk and a banana. Sometimes also a big mug of coffee and some dark chocolate.

Or, if I'm late home and its already lunch time, I move straight on to soup, bread and cheese.

When I've been out on a Sunday and done a decent distance I'll normally have some chicken pieces or a cold meat sandwich in the first half an hour after I get in, I'll wash it down with a pint of weak squash in the summer, in the winter a cup of black tea will do. When I'm just commuting I don't do anything special food wise, if I've been riding distance, over 40 miles, I can't eat a proper meal until several hours after I've got in.

My post -ride intake is usually the same diet as my forebears have lived on for the past 150 years at least. Cheese and oatcakes! Sometimes washed down with a cup of milk.
