Post not in "What's new"

My post in rider's tales, in the thread "exploring", at 16.34, did not appear on the news feed.
My mistake?

Sorry for the delay in replying Pat.

The news feed you see is made up of activity from the people that you follow - so your own content is not included.

Your posts should appear in the news feed of those people who follow you. Are you saying they didn't see this post?

If, however, you mean the What's New? list - you won't see your own posts in their as "new" because you posted them, but you can reveal the items you've posted and/or read by clicking the link at the right of the list: All Recent Messages

I follow you and i saw it,what Shaun said was true,you dont get another persons news feed unless you follow them................but you will get yours if you follow yourself?????
