hello,

I have acquired what seems to possibly be a very early Gloria. I have been unable to find any images online that shed any information on what age this bike could be but it seems like it has been meticulously crafted.
The badge and lugs seem very unique compared to everything else I can find online, could it be a pre championship Gloria?
Also could anyone identify the markings on the hub I have attached in the last image.

Thanks for your help!

Wow, what a find. I knew nothing about Gloria but now understand that it was the top Italian brand from the 1920s. Apparently Ernesto Colnago worked for them from the age of thirteen and was a big influence on his own frames.
Is there any connection to Gloria cycles in the UK? I don't imagine so, just interesting to note;

I’m not sure, It was apparently brought over from Italy and stored for a very long time. Has been badly painted a few time over.
