I have recently put my dream roadbike on lay away. I will have it in my hands in about a month or so. Can anyone from portland tell me of good rides to start with. I have herd Portland has great stuff!

How do you put your bike on lay away, and why will it take you a month to get it back from there?

You realise he's talking about the US city?

Portland is supposed to be the most cycling friendly place in the US - there should be hundreds of rides you could join and no doubt there are popular routes. Why not look into local clubs?

Btw, although it's not immediately obvious, this forum is majority UK membership so you may not get any specific replies about riding in the US.
