We will be running monthly ‘Espresso’ rides from our Coffee Shop in Romiley, Cheshire. These events are limited to 100 riders and are designed to build your mileage in the run up to our bigger rides such as the B*Stard. The first one is on Sunday 28th April 2013.

There is plenty of free parking near our shop and our super fast ‘Pro’ registration opens from 08:30 am with riders leaving anytime from 09:00. The idea is to turn up, grab a bite to eat and hit the road with no unnecessary queuing.

The entry fee is £12 with riders receiving:
Pre ride Porridge Pot and hot drink.
Basic feed station offering water, fruit and flapjacks.
Post ride hot drink, soup and bread roll.

We have two lovely routes of 54 and 42 miles heading out through the Goyt Valley into the Peak District. These are lumpy routes but flow nicely. There are no daft hills included just for the sake of it. With numbers limited to 100 riders it enables us to use smaller, quieter lanes.

There are now just 23 places left. Our local Police will also be at the HQ after the ride offering a free bike marking/registration service and security chat. We've also got a local physio offering free massages.

Cheers

Hi AL
Just to let you know (although you may already know) that the minor road from the Goyt Valley Ranger Station to the A537 is not rideable atm due to snow. Hopefully it will be OK in a couple of weeks. I was up there yesterday and had to carry the bike for about 200m. Snow was about 1ft deep on the road

Well I entered it so I secured a place. Missus said she was away with friends so was looking like an unlikely ride for me. The group going have been messing the organiser about so its looking like my missus will be home for Sunday.

Phew good planning by me.

Not yet. Al was thinking monthly but he has a big event round the corner, the b@stard. Also has Paris Nice Tour.

Great event and lots to eat included in the price.
