Polar HRM? Advice please

Is there a search function on here? I'm sure someone must have already asked about these?

Has anyone got a polar CS100 hrm and cycle computer? Probikeit are offering them quite cheap and I am thinking about getting one but have heard that they may be a bit unreliable? especially with a carbon fork?

Any sugegstions on something similar or better welcome?

I would like to get ave, max and target hrm as well as current speed, distance, time ridden, and as I'm lazy average speed too.

I think the CS100 may be discontinued and the polar website has the cs200 as the base model, not sure if it does distance and time riden though. I do have a cateye computer which is great and a basic hrm, its mainly the additional hrm functions I'm wanting to add.

Cheers

I have a CS100 and have had no problems with reliability with it. I've stopped using it now, and my polar HRM watches, when cycling and bought a garmin edge 500 instead. Bit more expensive but gives you HR and an accurate time distance output and is a lot easier to transfer betwen bikes - just put it in your picket if you don't have a spare mount
