I'm thinking I should listen to some podcasts, so I'm after the answers to two questions from the wise minds and sage thinkers of cyclechat.

What is a good Android app for podcasts?

And what does the pod do, and where can I buy one?

The BBC sounds app is a good start.

They don't do third party stuff yet though.

Pocket Casts is good. I'd have recommended Google's own app, but they're migrating to YouTube Music which may have teething issues.

BBC sounds as has been said.

Also Wondery do some decent stuff. Kind of light hearted but informative on various topics.

The Plodcast. From BBC Countryfile. They go for a wander. It might be looking for waterfalls, birds or plants. Kind of gentle, warm and informative.

+1 for BBC Sounds. Good range of current affairs and sports podcasts. I enjoy their "Chequered Flag" F1 podcast.
