PLEASE..... Stop Raining!!

I work a 4 days on/4 days off shift system. Why is it ALWAYS the case that the weather is not too bad when I'm working, then as soon as my days off start i.e today, the weather turns to absolute crap . Not just this week, but every set of days off for a long time. Today in the west of Scotland we have a severe weather warning; wet and windy. They're not kidding! We didn't even get a decent summer here like most other areas seem to have had.

It's just getting so tedious, I seriously think I need to emigrate before this grotbag of a country really gets to me . Why do eastern europeans want to come here? Or anyone else for that matter?

According to the Met Office it's to be scattered showers and only light winds tomorrow. Seems like that's the best we can hope for around here, so I was hoping to get out and play. Need to get 70 miles done over the next 3 days to get the Tricross mileage up to 3000 before its first birthday . Largs to Ayr and back tomorrow is the plan, subject to the weather!

Rain forecast here over the weekend.................

Still, hasn't rained for 3 weeks and been in the mid 20'sc every day.

Getting cold in the mornings though, it's down to 10c when we get up at about 08:00 (07:00 your time).

This morning the sun's out (again) and it looks like being another nice day.............................


I have friends on Facebook in the UK and they're always commenting on how bad the weather is (particularly in Cornwall this year). I don't think I could hack all the crappy weather again..........

Shocking how your cornish based friends have reported bad weather as that is regarded as one of the better sections to be basked in glorious weather!

Well I managed 77 miles today without getting wet! A tad windy for my liking, especially on the southbound route from home to Ayr. Better after I turned round to come home. Brings my miles on the Tricross past the 3000 mark, just before it's first birthday.

The gods hate you. Think hard about what you have done to upset them and then sacrifice a car driver to make amends. Problem solved.
