Looking for any info available on this bike, from what I have researched so far it seems to resemble the Schwinn Town & Country Tri-Wheeler, maybe between 79 and 82. I have looked under the crank and cant find any serial number or even evidence of it being there at any time. I took the paint off to check. The very odd thing about that is the vertical support posts in the frame that I don't see in any of the catalog pics. The rest of the frame shape seems to be very similar to these later years of the bike. I am pretty sure that it is somewhat of a Frankenstein creation though as I see some clear indication of an inexperienced welder in the rear half of the trike. I just picked this up as a project for fun and wanted to know a little about it to see if sourcing parts is at all possible or if I will need to continue to mix match parts to get it going. Mainly interested in the rear diff because I see parts that are definitely broken and I want to add electric somehow. If anyone has similar project or any input please let me know. One interesting thing about the rear is that it looks like the brake assembly from a cruiser has been integrated in because you can see the holes where the spokes are supposed to go... that seemed clever but maybe its typical, I know really next to nothing about bikes besides general knowledge but have good mechanic and DIY skills. but forgive my lack of terminology.
